ARTIST BIO

Lenay Hughes is an active fine arts professional living in Prescott,, Arizona.  Lenay received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art and Art Education training from Arizona State University.  She currently works as a free-lance artist and surface pattern designer, exhibiting her work both locally and nationally.  Her use of organic shapes found in nature and intense colors create a an emotional experience for the viewer.  She has worked as a Visual Arts teacher at both the elementary and high school level for the past 20 years. Lenay is an Arizona native and loves to draw, paint, and hike the mountains around her home in Prescott, Arizona.
